2023 Secret Santa Team Lunch
CXO Portals met in Cardiff (UK) yesterday at Asador 44 a Spanish grill and wine house for our Secret Santa team lunch.
Secret Santa can often be hit and miss, people buying that jokey present that gets a laugh for 5 mins then either gets thrown in a wardrobe or given to the charity shop.
So in true CXO Portals style we decided to do things differently – the gift had to be handmade.
Charmaine Baker received beautiful hand painted gin glasses and home made gin (Cinnamon and Orange and Raspberry and Hibiscus) Christmas flavours in all their glory.
Roberta Walbank our avid bookworm received a glitzy handmade bookmark along with some festive treats.
Glenn Hapgood a handmade and painted box with a G and our logo, full of penny sweets as we all know he’s a child at heart! Perfect for his desk and holding stationery.
Ffion Waddon raspberry flavoured macarons, sprayed with silver glitter for that festive touch – can vouch they were delicious
Philippe Ashwell hand painted Christmas baubles, named after his daughter Bella and cat Noodles
Jay Barter received a (quite frankly outstanding) framed painted picture of his new puppy Bonnie
We never knew we were such a thoughtful, creative and talented bunch!
We all thoroughly enjoyed making our gifts for one another, real thought went it these and was perfect for team bonding and learning more about one another.
I’m sure this will become a Christmas tradition, so if you’re looking to come and join. Be prepared to get creative!
The food at Asador was exceptional, as was the also not needed but devoured Ice Creams from the parlour next door.
We truly have a fabulous team – hope all of you enjoy your Christmas lunches as much as we did. 🎄 🎁
