On the 27th September, Own hosted a virtual session titled: “Approaches to Data Security and Protection: Insights from 1053 European IT Professionals.”
Own surveyed 1053 IT leaders with a responsibility for data security and data protection across the UK, France, Germany, Nordics, Benelux, and Italy for the third-party research report.
Through the research, Own identified current attitudes and challenges to data protection and security, confidence in adhering to compliance regulations, approaches to data security and cyber-attack prevention, and future investment priorities.
During the session, attendees: Thyssenkrupp, Boston Consulting Group, DB Stystel, Roche, Infineon Technologies, Siemens Energy, Philip Morris International, Xebia and Philips Group discussed how to secure their Salesforce and ServiceNow data effectively whilst also understanding further:
- Responsibilities towards SaaS data protection
- Risks posed to data held in platforms like Salesforce and ServiceNow
- Benchmarking their organisation against others on preparedness for a data loss or breach
- Learnt how other organisations are approaching data security and protection challenges and where they can focus investment
