Samaritans Shoe Box Campaign – Operation Christmas Child 2023

This year all of us at CXO Portals got involved with the Samaritans shoe box Campaign – Operation Christmas Child 2023.

This involves packing shoeboxes with gifts for children in need around the world. The purpose of the Samaritan’s Purse shoebox campaign is to bring joy and share the message of hope at Christmas.  The gifts provide practical items, but also bring joy and goodwill during the holiday season.

As a team, we packed 12 shoeboxes with various items, including toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and other small gifts.

The filled shoeboxes are then sent to children in need in countries around the world. The recipients are often in situations of poverty,
conflict, or disaster, and the gift-filled shoeboxes provide them with a tangible expression of love and care.

Delivered on Friday 19th November, we watched our boxes get shipped off, Operation Christmas Child was a rewarding way for the CXO Portals team to directly impact the lives of children in challenging circumstances and bring a sense of joy and hope at this special time of year.
